Jazz 2008/09

{mosimage}Secondo la rivista statunitense di jazz Down Beat /57th Annual Critics Poll/ suonare dal vivo (sessionography) e' molto importante per la maggior parte dei musicisti jazz. Il musicista jazz dell'anno e' Sonny Rollins e l'album dell'anno e' il suo Road Shows,Vol. 1. Tra le novita' (Rising Star) troviamo un sassofonista di New York - Rudresh Mahanthappa nato nel 1971 a Trieste! - e il suo album Kinsmen, che e' uno dei migliori dell'anno, lo potete prestare nella vostra Biblioteca.
